What are old school weapons? - Guild Wars Forums

Hi, recently I've been browsing through the Price Check forums, and I found many weapons that are "old school" that are worth quite a bit of money (100k+ectos). Can someone please tell me what exactly old school weapons are, and where I could possibly farm/find them?

oldschool = stuff from tyria and factions that has perfect mods or rare nerfed mods like 10/10 armor penetration. You can't really farm most of them since they don't exist anymore. But rare non inscrip perfect weapons = old school.

Covah left things slightly confused for you.

1. The weapons with nerfed mods are no longer found. Their prices remain very high.

2. The gold perfect stat weapons with no inscription slot, but containing an inherent mod of the same type of buff, do still drop in Tyria and Factions. Their prices have dropped somewhat, as people prefer to choose their own mods.

Oldschool wpn = Weapon from Tyria/Cantha (no inscription).

Well what i think about oldschool is when you have it in the window/ping it and it just says forexample

Magma Shield (whit 30+hp, and 2- stance)
Never would have said
Magma Shield of Fortitude etc^^

Same whit other stuff
